Devil's Icebox

This past weekend I went to Columbia, Missouri with some friends to photograph a friend as she will be graduating from the University of Missouri very soon. Among the different locations we shot, this beautiful park was the first and quite a pleasant surprise!  The park's name, Devil's Icebox, comes from the name of the caves in the park I believe. Weather wise, it was already a wonderful day, and the scenery at here was astounding! I want to return to Columbia soon to spend more time there and enjoy the sights!

A few of my favorite Royals

Earlier this summer, my wife and I took our daughter to her first Royals game. Due to the heat, my wife and daughter stayed in the Diamond lounge and I sat outside for a few innings. I was able to get a couple shots of a my favorite Royals Eric Hosmer, Salvador Perez, and Alex Gordon!

Boo at the Zoo 2014

 We took our daughter to Gage Park's Boo at the Zoo this past weekend. I took her last year but she wasn't old enough to get anything out of it. This year she's dressed as a ghost  and had a great time! She got a lot of her favorite candy, Tootise Rolls!  She also got to see her favorite animal, the gorilla, who was right by the window! The tiger cubs were also out as well as the male lion! Continuing tradition, we stopped by the Quiet Garden to see my dad's brick. We also ran into one of my former students and some of our friends. All and all a wonderful day!
