Two years in!

October 2009 is the month in which e drake photography became a 'company'.  e drake photography had been in existence for about a year and a half, yet in October 2009, moves were beginning to be made to take the next steps in becoming as professional as possible.  In October 2009, e drake photography began this very blog and a business page on Facebook to showcase my work and to receive new clients.  Around this time, I was able to take a class (through Kerri and Leah of seveneightfive magazine!) which led to my membership in the Topeka Chamber of Commerce!  This year has been the successful yet for the company with even more great things on the horizon!  I would like to thank everyone for their love and support!!!

Shawnee North Opening Reception!

I'd like to thank everyone who came out to the opening reception of the e drake photography show at the Shawnee North Community Center! There was a great turn and the print of 'and there will be thunder' sold! The show will be up throughout the month of April. Stop in and check out it!

e drake photography at Shawnee North Community Center April 1st!

The opening reception of the e drake photography show at the Shawnee North Community Center is only a few short days away! Come out on April 1st from 5 to 7 pm to see new e drake photography prints!

Tabitha's April Specials!!!

'Topeka Ruins' show March 24th

I'd like to thank everyone who came out to the 'Fine and Thriving' show at the Break Room March 24th! Two prints from the series found new homes! I will have another exhibit at 'Fine and Thriving' soon, more information will be following. Also, come out to the Shawnee North Community Center on April 1st for the opening reception of the e drake photography show they are holding for the month of April! The reception will last from 5 to 7 pm. Hope to see you all there!

'Carly Loves Blue' book signing at the Kansas Museum of History April 2nd!

My friend and author of 'Carly Loves Blue', Dr. Martina Thompson, will be signing copies of 'Carly Loves Blue' at the Kansas Museum of History's Store Saturday April 2nd from 1-3 pm. Topeka artist and ReThink Topeka organizer Justin Marable will also be there, signing copies of his new book 'Nico'

Highland Park Community Project

On Thursday, March 24th I had the pleasure to be apart of the Highland Park Community Project. Students and Staff from Highland Park High School, along with police officers and other city officials cleaned up the area around three abandoned home across the street from the high school. Students also painted and placed murals on the homes to give them a more decorative look. You can read more about the project from these news sources:
